Stacy Ferguson is an American singer, actress and designer, born on March 27, 1975, in Hacienda Heights, California. She is mostly known by the name of Fergie, her stage name. She began her career at an early age. When she was 9 years old she was already starring in the TV show Kids Incorporated. On the set of Kids Incorporated she met Renee Sandstrom, and together with Stefanie Ridel they formed a trio called Wild Orchid. The trio lasted until 2002, but before that she admitted that she had abused drugs and alcohol.

Fergie’s fulminating success came when Will.I.Am invited her to join The Black Eyed Peas, who were recording the album Elephunk. She was offered a permanent spot in the group and the album became an instant hit. Songs like Shut Up, Where Is the Love and Hey Mama clearly brought to life Fergie’s intense voice and thus she became a true star. Their next album, Monkey Business, was not any less successful as Elephunk, and it debuted in the Billboard 200 at number 2.

in 2006, Fergie decided to take a break from the group and to try to succeed as a solo artist. Her debut album was named The Dutchess and Fergie released hit after hit: London Bridge, Fergalicious, Glamorous, Big Girls Don’t Cry and Clumsy. Not many artists can transform in hits so many songs from only one album. She also pursued her acting career, but she returned to The Black Eyed Peas in 2008.

In March 2009, The Black Eyed Peas released the album The E.N.D., and songs like Boom Boom Pow, I Gotta Feeling and Meet Me Halfway became number one hits all around the world. Her next step was creating a fashion line and then she become one of Avon’s ambassadors. Another album followed next, The Beginning, where the group approached a different, but still outstanding style. Their songs echo throughout the whole world and the clubs vibrate when they are played.

Although she is “clumsy”, the truth is that we “just can’t get enough” of Fergje and we do not want her to ever “stop the party”. She is one of the most talented artists of our time and this fact is reflected in her many awards and her hundreds of thousands of fans.
